Our Stay at the Hospital

Things have been going well so far in our home away from home. We have had many visitors (thanks for everyone who has stopped by and cuddled with Luciana). She is definitely loved, there is no doubt about that. She continues to do well- she has been an eating machine today. She definitely tested the waters last night though, wanting to eat, then sleep (being held of course) and wanted nothing to do with her bassinett. When we just got her to sleep on her own- knock knock at the door for a check-up! We seriously both groaned out loud, and the nurse quickly assured us that if she woke her up than she would take care of getting her back to sleep. Thank the Lord. So we have visions of how our sleep patterns will look once we are back at home- definitely something to adjust to. The hard part is Elisa's inability to get up quickly- well- do anything quickly for that matter. She looks forward to being a bit more helpful in the near future. Other than that, we are doing great- a happy healthy family! :)
