Nine Months- and lovin' it!

Luciana is nine months old- which in itself it amazing to believe- and she continues to live life to the fullest. Saying that she is mobile is an understatement- one is lucky to keep her in the same spot for longer than two minutes! She is crawling like a champ (and goes faster when you say her name) and standing up next to EVERYthing (coffee tables, chairs, her high chair, doors, the fridge- you  name it and she uses it to hoist herself up). She finished up her last swim lesson this past Monday, and continues to enjoy being in the water. Some August highlights include eating more solid foods, attending Great America for the first time, and clapping her hands when you say "Yeah Luciana".
She loves to eat, and gets cranky when she is hungry (totally her mothers' child- both of them). She started off eating one new food at a time, but now there is really not much that she doesn't eat. A couple of her favorites are peaches, mangos, avocado, and green beans. Actually there is not much that she turns her nose to, except for bananas- she still does not enjoy them too much.
At her nine month check up our doctor told us she right on track with her growth. She is just a little over 18 pounds, and she is 29.5 inches long. In case you are not so great at math, that is almost half of Elisa's height. Seriously. At this rate she will be taller than Elisa when she is 4!
