October 25th, 2009- The Countdown is On

Well- we are officially done counting weeks and have moved on to days. We joined our church today, which is something that we have been wanting to do for awhile. We had hoped that we would be able to attend (not knowing if baby belch would make an early appearance) so we were glad that things worked out. The latest report from the OB is nothing spectacular- baby is still head down, and the cervix is getting softer. Elisa is still feeling the baby move frequently (can't imagine how, though, there cannot be a ton of room in there!). Each day she goes to work people seem shocked that she is still there. And of course there are the questions from her students; Did you know you are due on the day of the Packers/Vikings game? (A very big deal around here.) What do we do if your water breaks right now? Is our long term sub really old? Will she play games with us like you do? Will we get to see the baby when you have it? Will you name it Jose? (The chosen Spanish name of the student asking the question) What about Ben? (The English name of the student asking the previous question). They definitely keep her entertained!
